A 1 + 90 Leadership Experience

See yourself differently. Lead intentionally.

Your personalized EQ‑i 2.0 insight is where you begin. What follows is a curated, immersive experience, and 90 days of support — connecting how you handle pressure, where your real strengths are, and how both show up when you lead.

Why SHIFT

Not a retreat. Not a workshop.
An immersive experience.

Built with intention, rooted in research and experience.

A Precise Read on How You Operate

A personalized EQ‑i 2.0 assessment and a confidential 1:1 debrief before the day — your patterns under pressure, your conflict style, and how others actually experience you.

More Than One Way of Seeing

Explore how and why you operate: emotional intelligence, the physiology of stress, visual thinking and the science of wellbeing and performance. Insight no single assessment can capture.

90 Days to Put Insight Into Practice

90 days of access to support, in a structure that works for you. Change happens through repeated opportunities to apply new learning in context, not in a single day (London, Sessa, & Shelley, 2023).

“95% of people believe they're self-aware. Only 10–15% actually are.”

— Tasha Eurich, Organizational Psychologist

The Progression

1 + 90

Insight is a beginning

Continued application over time is what research links to real gains in resilience, leadership capability and performance (Grant, Curtayne & Burton, 2009; Jones, Woods & Guillaume, 2016; Lacerenza et al., 2017).

Phase 01 · Before

A personalized starting point

Each participant completes an EQ‑i 2.0 Leadership Assessment, receives a personalized report, and meets privately for a confidential 60-minute debrief to identify their personal learning edge.

Phase 02 · During

A restorative day of discovery

A highly facilitated day at The Royal Hotel integrates emotional intelligence, visual thinking, reflection, dialogue, and experiential learning. Participants leave with a clear 90-day development intention.

Phase 03 · After

90 days of
application

90 days of access to support, in a structure that works for you. Change happens through repeated opportunities to apply new learning in context, not in a single day (London, Sessa & Shelley, 2023).

Responsible for helping your team manage pressure, and want to understand it more deeply yourself first.

New to leading people, building your own way of doing it on the job, in real time.

You want greater self-awareness, without being reduced to a personality type or assessment score.

Curious about your own emotional intelligence, and how it connects to performance under pressure.

Working in HR or leading a business, and want to do this work on yourself before bringing it to your team.

Who It's For

For leaders ready to build the part of the job nobody trained them for.

Leading people is as much about the how as the what. The how is the part most of us are left to figure out.

Ready for development that treats performance and wellbeing as connected, not competing.

Carrying high pressure for a long time, without the space to look at how it's shaping the way you lead.

The Day's Schedule

From noticing to choosing.

Five connected stages create a progressive process of inquiry, meaning-making, and choice.

01

Arrive

Step outside the pace

Create the conditions for presence, trust, and useful reflection away from the demands of work.

02

See

Make patterns visible

Notice how you lead, communicate, relate, decide, and respond under pressure.

03

Understand

Look beneath the surface

Explore the experiences, beliefs, values, and expectations shaping those leadership patterns.

04

Align

Reconnect with what matters

Consider what effective, sustainable leadership requires from your capacity and choices.

05

Choose

Define your shift

Identify a meaningful change to practise and apply over the 90 days ahead with dedicated support.

Full hourly schedule and itinerary details will be provided to registered participants prior to arrival.

The Setting

Development happens differently
when the environment changes.

We didn’t want a boardroom. It was very important to us that SHIFT was hosted in an environment designed to help people slow down, rest and breathe.

Distance from everyday demands is what restores energy and attention (Kaplan, 1995; Sonnentag, Cheng & Parker, 2022).

SHIFT takes place at The Royal Hotel in Prince Edward County. A historic property restored with the same attention to detail we are bringing to SHIFT.

HR Navigate is proud to host this experience in Prince Edward County.

Visual Facilitation

Make the unseen visible.

Personal visual practices help participants see their own thinking and patterns. Live graphic recording captures the collective journey, while graphic facilitation helps connect each stage of the experience.

The purpose is not artistic performance. It is to make complex human and organizational experiences easier to see, understand, and work with.
