Sound familiar?
Your newest manager was your best individual contributor — and now they're struggling to lead the team they used to be part of.
Meetings run long, decisions stall, and nobody's quite sure who owns what.
Feedback either doesn't happen, or happens too late to matter.
You've got strong technical leaders who avoid the human side of the job.
Team friction keeps resurfacing in different forms, never really resolved.
You know coaching would help — you just don't know where to start or who to trust with it.
If any of that lands, you're in the right place. We build leaders, not just managers.
What's included
One-to-one coaching for leaders at every level, grounded in real workplace situations rather than theory.
A clear plan for building a stronger, more cohesive team — not a one-off workshop that fades by Friday.
Making sure leadership capability doesn’t live in just one or two people.
How it works
When someone tells us a manager “just needs training,” our first question is what’s actually happening day to day. Usually the real issue is more specific — and generic training won’t touch it.
Understand
We take the time to understand the leader, the team, and the dynamics shaping how work actually gets done.
Advise
We help leaders see their own blind spots and build a realistic plan for growth — not a personality-test printout.
Support
Coaching, team facilitation, or ongoing development support — whichever moves things forward.

The challenge
A newly promoted engineering manager was excellent at the technical work but struggled to lead the team he used to be part of. Delegation felt uncomfortable, feedback conversations were avoided, and the team's trust in him was starting to slip.
What we did
We paired one-to-one coaching with a DISC and EQ-i assessment to build his self-awareness, then worked through the real situations he was facing week to week — not hypothetical scenarios.
The outcome
Within a few months, feedback conversations that used to get avoided were happening regularly, and the team reported a noticeable shift in how supported they felt.

Questions
Off-the-shelf training gives everyone the same content regardless of what they're actually dealing with. We start by understanding the specific leader and situation, then build coaching and development around that — so it's relevant instead of generic.
Both. Some engagements are one-to-one coaching for a specific leader. Others involve the whole team — assessments, development roadmaps, and facilitated sessions to build how the group works together.
DISC looks at behavioural style — how someone communicates and works with others. EQ-i measures emotional intelligence — how someone manages themselves and relates to others under pressure. We use whichever tool, or both, fits what you're trying to understand.
It depends on the goal. Some leaders need a few focused sessions around a specific transition; others benefit from ongoing coaching over several months. We'll recommend a realistic timeline once we understand what you're working with.
Often, yes. Leadership development frequently surfaces culture or HR foundation issues, and vice versa. If that happens, we'll tell you honestly and suggest how the pieces fit together.
